For the Struggling Christian (When God Feels Far Away)

Updated: Jun 26, 2021

Burned-out, doubting, and filled with questions... a scary place to be for most of us! For the Christian who is walking through a season of depression or is feeling far from God, they can likely testify that feeling far away from God is one of the hardest things you can go through. This can be especially frustrating for those who have established their quiet time routines, prayer time, and intentional time with God- yet still feel empty or far from him.

In this weeks video titled "For the Struggling Christian", I give you guys 6 passages and action words to help you through this difficult season! The six steps follow the acronym H.A.N.D.L.E! It is designed to help you handle 😉 the turbulent time you are in!

Each of the 6 letters has a corresponding passage or two of scripture. This is designed for you to sit, dwell, and meditate on. I recommend spending an adequate amount of time in each section of scripture, making sure to soak them in for all their worth. I also HIGHLY recommend that you read the entire chapter of scripture along with the specific outlined sections!

The free PDF chart that goes along with the video will be available for download below! Also- don't forget to watch the 10 minute video that goes along with the PDF so that you are not confused and get the most out of it! Enjoy, and share with a friend who would appreciate a free resource!

Love,

Taylor

God showed me that I have been living in a way of another sin b/c of my grief over another sin in my past and I would just keep reliving it over and over not forgiving myself, but most important not accepting the forgiveness of God after many yrs ago repenting for it. You are such a beautiful young lady a…

I have to say that what you said hit home for me as well. I have turned on myself and had struggles with unforgiveness. Mistakes I've made play over and over like a broken record and have taunted me many times, I always ask myself how I came to that place of failure and give myself a mental beating and feel such shame and guilt about it. But I've learned through my shortcomings that those area's are broken and need fixing. When I place anything before Jesus, it will reek disaster on my life and trip me up in my walk. I don't even realize I'm doing it at times, and it feels so disappointing. And it really seems so…
